Fait Star : Артистичное враньё от автора ролика.Прислушайтесь к словам и то как он вам ножи показывает ,чушь полная- он показывает вам лезвие и режущую кромку и нож якобы не режет. Это первая серия ножей и она не для профессиональных поваров. То что нож режет это и так видно по разрезам на листке бумаге. А то как делаешь срез это твои руки , а не вина режущей кромки.Стоимось этого набора порядка 10900 рублей и это самый дешевый набор из 4х ножей ,считайте сами и делайте выводы. У меня самая дешевая серия дома , Five Star и точу я эти ножи раз в год . Не обманывайте людей пожалуйста , у дешевых версий Zwilling хорошее соотношение цены и качества.

Alex : Да что за хуйня пользуюсь ножами этой фирмы уже лет 8, ни раз такого говна не приходило, иди и купи оригинал этих ножей потом сделай обзор, псевдо профи.

Меня смущает одно, как можно купить ножи не посмотреть их и сразу отправить кому-то на переточку. Что-то тут не чистое.
А вообще вот эти ножи, что ты сейчас показываешь они не дорогие. Хороший Zwilling это вещь и не надо хаять эту фирму ничего не зная о ней.

While both the Zwilling and the Wusthof are well-known brands I got asked a lot wich one I recommend. It is not what I recommend to you but what knife is more suitable for your preferred preferences so I tried to explain the biggest difference that can help you decide which one is the better option for you.

J.P. Massaro : The weight of Western knives, too much belly, being uncomfortable to pinch grip and needing constant sharpening is what led me towards investing in Japanese knives. I don’t by any means think that Western chef’s knives are bad. They have their place and are great to learn on, but I prefer something harder, that stays sharper longer, is more nimble, more accurate and more comfortable, not to mention handmade.
Winston Halder : whats ur preference? I've personally been using the ikon and love the handle but the zwilling looks like a great pinch grip knife which I'm accustomed too!

Christian Guthrie : Interesting, I do love the contoured grip of the pro, I was taught the pinch-grip,but now I and looking at the Wusthof knife for my gf and she uses the hilt more.
Jing Lee : Balance is pretty much useless, unless you are holding with 2 weak fingers. Both of these knives are very bad, especially for cutting vegetables as they are too thick.
Jan Go : I am still with a wusthof classic for less money and classic grip.

I have been testing many Chinese and Japanese made knives. After knowing what the other can deliver in terms of quality and price I find that the Zwilling chef's knife is an overpriced all-purpose knife.

The current recommended price is $150 or 100 euro in Europe.
We can get knives from China with the same durability and better sharpness for a lot less. For around $30 you have something that is comparable with the Zwilling chef's knife. And that includes shipping and even when they add import taxes you will still be cheaper than the $150 price point of the Zwilling 8 inch Chef's knife. At this point, I think that the Victorinox Chef's knife is at the correct price point for around $35 to $40.

BS Killa : It's $50 right now at their official website and I'm still going to pass. Having more fun with their nakiri. I don't really like Chef's knives and it seems like they just lower the price to manipulate people into thinking they are getting an amazing deal. Great, great video btw.
Taemeister : Mine came with an uneven handle. The part where the steel meets the handle has an uneven rise. The left side of the top of the handle has a depression, making the metal sticking up a mm higher. I expected more out of a $400+ knife. Returned it for an exchange.

Winston Halder : seen Gordan ramsay use zwilling knifes in his master class. How well does it compare to the wusthof classic ikon? Some people swear by zwilling and others think wusthof is better?

Dan : Great knife, I use a steel and then ceramic sharpener after every use, couple of slow strokes and its retained its factory edge.
